Five AKG Intermediate oral exam candidate students graduated on the final day of the examination period when 101 graduates were awarded certificates.

During the examination period, it was not possible for students from other years to take the advanced examinations early, only students in their final year were able to take the examination.

For the regular graduation exam, 74 twelfth-graders applied from the seven-year course (JokerQueenKing Group) and 29 from the five-year course (CheckMate group). Two students did not apply to sit the full exam, they will finish their exams later due to the epidemiological situation.

6 students passed the exam in the minimum of five subjects, (*)
34 students passed the exam in 6 subjects,
30 students passed the exam in 7 subjects,
18 students passed the exam in 8 subjects,
8 students passed the exam in 9 subjects,
And 4 students passed the exam in 10 subjects.

In the following, the results of the two groups will be handled separately.

* As with results from previous (advanced) exams. If a candidate has taken a level exam in an exam subject, both exams are counted.

Students from the 7-year, Year 12 group (74 people)

1. Higher level exam results

Of a total of 527 exam candidates, 179 candidates sat exams at advanced level (34%). (The national rate is 15.7%)

Advanced level exams were taken as follows:
English language: 65 students (47% of the total number sitting English – the national figure is 30%)
Biology 5 students (100%)
Physics 4 students (67%),
Geography 1 student (100%),
French 5 students (45% **),
Economics 7 students (100%),
Hebrew 1 student (100%),
Information Technology 11 students (42% **),
Japanese 1 student (100%),
Chemistry 3 students (100%),

Hungarian language and literature 6 students (8% – National rate: 3%),
Mathematics 15 students (21% – National rate: 7%),
German language 23 students (40% ** – National rate: 19%),

History 13 students (18% – National rate: 10%)

** There are some students who have both intermediate and advanced level exam results in foreign languages and informatics, e.g. 74 students took a total of 137 exams in English.

31 took 2 advanced level exams,
19 took 3 advanced level exams,
7 took 4 advanced level exams,
6 took 5 advanced level exams,
6 took 6 advanced level exams,

The average number of advanced level exams per capita: 2.41.


2. Language examinations

At advanced level language matriculation, students completed 100 intermediate (B2) and 4 elementary (B1) language exams.


3. Results

The average grade is 4.8 (from 5), and the average rate as a percentage of results obtained is 83.3%.
At intermediate level the average is 4.7 and 85.4%
At the higher level the average is 4.91 and 79.2

38 students were awarded ‘excellent’ (53%)
26 students were awarded an above average 4.5 (‘A’) (36%)
7 students were awarded an above average 4 (‘good’) (10%)
1 student was awarded between an average grade between 3 and 3.5 (pass) (1%)

The average of the averages is 4.8 which as a percentage is 83.4%.


4. Subject exams

In 2020, the candidates passed the following averages of each examination subject (students graduating from the regular examination type, AKG):

Students from the 5-year, Year 12 group (29 people)

1. Advanced level exams

In a total of 188 exams, 61 exams were higher level (32%). [National rate: 15.7%]

The following took advanced level exam:
26 in English (47% of all English exams ** – National rate: 30%)
2 in physics (100%),
2 (100%) in economics,
2 in informatics (15% **),
3 in Hungarian language and literature (10% – National rate: 3%),
8 in mathematics (28% – National rate: 7%),
1 in German (17% ** – National rate: 19%),
4 in Spanish (44%),
5 (56%) of social studies
8 in history (28% – National rate: 10%).

** There are students who have exam results in foreign language and informatics at both intermediate and advanced levels, so, for example, 27 students took a total of 53 exams in English.

There is no student who has not taken the advanced level exam,
5 passed 1 advanced level exam,
18 people passed 2 advanced level exams,
5 passed 3 advanced level exams,
I passed 5 advanced level exams.
Average number of advanced level exams per capita: 2.1


2. Language exams

In advanced level language matriculation, 29 students achieved intermediate (B2) level language exams.


3. Results

The average grade is 4.78, and the average percentage result is 82.7%.

At the intermediate level, the same averages are 4.74 and 85.2%,
and at higher level 4.87 and 77.6%.

16 students achieved above average 4.5 (‘A’) (55%)
1 student achieved above average (‘good’) (3%)
1 additional between 3 and 3.5 averages (pass) (3%)
The average of the student averages is 4.78. The average of the percentage averages is 82.5%.
