Nemzetközi projekttel ünnepelték az AKG-s diákok az Európa-napot

Május 7-én, pénteken zárult az a 7 EU-s ország több, mint 100 diákjának a részvételével zajló projekt, amiből az AKG-s diákok is kivették a részüket. A zoom konferencián a diákok bemutatták az elkészült projektjeiket, a gimnáziumokat képviselő tanárok, és a hét résztvevő ország EP kapcsolattartó irodáinak képviselői is felszólaltak. Hatalmas élmény volt a közös munka a diákok és a tanárok számára egyaránt, további együttműködést is tervezünk az iskolákkal.

Today, on May 7 2021 at 11:30 CET we held a live Zoom conference to present the results of our project and commemorate Europe Day. There were around 100 Zoom participants and others watching the live stream on Facebook EPAS page of Gimnazija „Matija Mesić”, including all project coordinators (senior EPAS ambassadors), participating students from all 7 countries, members of the media and special guest speakers: 

  • Ognian Zlatev, Head of Representation of European Commission in Croatia
  • Violeta Staničić, Head of Liaison Office of European Parliament (EPLO) in Croatia
  • Andrea Lővei , Head of Liaison Office of European Parliament (EPLO)  in Hungary
  • Frank Piplat, Head of Liaison Office of European Parliament in Austria
  • Isabel Baltazarr, national EPAS coordinator in Portugal
  • Marta Ribele, the Head of European Parliament Liaison Office in Latvia
  • Egidijus Zaikauskas – A Language Officer – Representative for Translation and Language at the EC Representation in Lithuania
  • Kristin Björk, project manager at Europe Direct in Fyrbodal, Sweden
  • Iva Perić, EDIC Slavonski Brod, Croatia

The conference also premiered the project video which was put together by junior ambassador Tomo Mihelčić from Croatia. Project coordinators from all countries shared their experience with the project, why they chose to participate in it and why commemorating Europe Day is important for all Europeans. A student from each country also briefly shared their feelings about the project, which were all positive. 

All the guests had nothing but words of praise for the project, the participating students and their work and the coordinators. 

The conference concluded with an interactive discussion on The role and responsibility of youth in building a common future Europe, moderated by Iva Perić, Europe Direct Slavonski Brod, Croatia.
